MORE INFORMATION

• The team responsible for accompanying the group during the tour will be led by local guide Richard Morsbach and internationally awarded landscape photographer Victor Lima ;

​

• Aiming to offer the highest quality during this trip, a maximum limit of 12 participants in this tour is defined, in order to be able to give the greatest possible attention to each one of the students.

​

• The minimum number of participants to confirm the tour is 7 people. Confirmation of the tour will be given with the payment of the total amount of the trip for the minimum number of participants mentioned above. The deadline for confirmation of the tour is 90 days before departure.

​

• The languages spoken during the tour will be Portuguese, English or Spanish.

​

• The tour price includes:

​

     - Ground transportation during the entire duration of the tour;
     - All tourist taxes and park entrance fees;
     - All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the tour period;
     - All beverages except premium wines and liquors;
     - All accommodation / accommodation costs in a shared room;
     - Continuous assistance from photographer Victor Lima;
     - Local guide and highly experienced driver.

• NOT included:

     - Travel insurance covering health insurance/luggage insurance;
     - Air tickets ;
     - Personal expenses;
     - Expenses with optional/extra activities;
     - Single room supplement;
     - Anything that is not expressly mentioned as "included";

     - Photographic equipment, notebook and etc.
    

EQUIPMENT

The recommended photographic equipment consists of a DSLR or Mirrorless still camera, with at least two lenses, being a wide angle and a medium telephoto lens, and a tripod. Optionally recommended: Photo filter and remote trigger. Also, don't forget:

• Additional batteries;

• Lens cleaning cloths;

• Memory cards and so on.

WHAT TO WEAR

​

Namibia has a semi-desert climate,  hot during the day and cold at night. Faced with this scenario, it is important to be prepared and bring cooler clothes to wear during the day and warmer coats and clothes for the night photography sessions. It is also recommended to wear clothes with sun protection, especially while staying in the Namibian Desert.

Preferably, wear medium/high boots to protect the ankle and prevent excessive sand from entering the shoes.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

• Passport / valid identity card for international travel;

• Certificate of vaccination against COVID-19;

• Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 7 days, must be provided on arrival;

• The national currency is the Namibian Dollar (NAD). It is recommended to bring US dollars and exchange at the airport;

• Visa / MasterCard credit cards are widely accepted but it's nice to carry cash too.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

• The total cost of the trip is US$4400 (10-12 participants) or US$5500 (7-9 participants), considering accommodation in a room for two people (paying). The corresponding amount in R$ (Real) will be determined 90 days before the start of the tour, based on the Dollar Tourism quotation on that date. We will use the Valor Econômico website as a reference for currency conversion;

• In case the participant chooses to contract the Extra Program (Safari), a supplement in the amount of US$1600 must be paid, which will be added to the total amount mentioned above. A minimum number of 4 participants is required for the Extra Program to take place;

​​

• If the number of subscribers is less than the minimum number of participants for the automatic confirmation of the Tour (7 people), there will still be the possibility of holding the tour on the scheduled date, provided that interested parties agree to pay an additional amount for cover the damage related to unfilled vacancies. Thus, the total cost of the trip would be US$6850, considering a minimum number of 5 participants in the event;

• To reserve a place, it is necessary to pay a deposit in the amount of US$1000. This amount will be converted into R$ (Real) on the date of payment and the balance in US dollars will be divided by the number of months remaining until the deadline for payment of the total amount of the tour. Each installment must be paid in R$ (Real) using the Tourist Dollar value on the date of payment for the conversion. In the last installment, we will add up all the payments already made so far and will count the amount necessary to complete the total value of the trip in Tourism Dollars;

• If the participant chooses to stay in a single room during the tour, a supplement of US$950 must be paid. In case the participant is involuntarily accommodated in a single room, due to the distribution of the participants among the available accommodations, a supplement of US$750 must be paid;

​

• The preferred form of payment is bank transfer or PIX, in which we offer a 5% discount on cash payments. In the case of payment through PayPal or PagSeguro, an additional fee will be charged that can vary from 5% to 10%, depending on whether the payment is in full or in installments;

​​

• In case the minimum number of participants for the Tour is not reached, the amount paid may be refunded in full or, if this is the option of the interested party, it may be relocated to one of our similar events with available places;

​​

• The date of the event may be changed due to situations involving public calamity or restriction of access to the event site , such as: floods, landslides, epidemics, etc. In this case, participants must choose to participate in the event in question on its new date or else keep the credit of the amount paid to participate in another event with available places;

​​

• This service provision is restricted to issues related to the Photography Tour, including accommodation, transport during the planned departures and monitoring by photographer Victor Lima . Any other issues of a personal nature, such as individual documentation issues, etc. , are not the responsibility of the Tour organization.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION RULES

​

If a participant decides to cancel their reservation, they can do so at any time, communicating as soon as possible to the official email address of the tour organization.

However, remember that a cancellation by a participant would create management difficulties in reservations, in addition to the risk of not reaching the minimum number of participants for the tour.

Below are the cancellation rules:

​

• In case of voluntary withdrawal of the participant at any time, the amount paid as a deposit will not be refunded;

• Up to 120 days before the start of the tour, a refund of the amount paid so far by the participant can be made, minus the amount of the signal;

• Between 120 and 90 days before the start of the tour, 50% of the amount paid by the participant can be refunded, minus the down payment;

• With less than 90 days left before the start of the tour, the amounts paid by the participant will not be refunded.

• In case the participant who wishes to cancel his/her registration can find another person to take over his/her place, the amounts paid so far can be refunded, minus the amount of the deposit. It is noteworthy that the substitute must be a person who has never participated in events promoted by the tour organization and who has not yet expressed interest in this or other trips; 

• In case we complete all the places available for the formation of the group of this tour, a refund of 70% of the amounts paid by the participant who canceled his/her registration, minus the amount of the deposit, can be made.
